- Screenshots showing only download speed

Hosts do not need to understand advanced networking terminology.
A host who cannot explain jitter or packet loss is not automatically offering a bad property.

It may not tell you:

- packet-loss performance;
- evening congestion;
- how many people share the connection;
- whether the desk has good Wi-Fi coverage; or

Treat a platform badge as one positive data point, then request recent workspace-specific evidence if stable connectivity is essential to your job.
Check the Internet Connection Type—but Do Not Assume It Guarantees Quality

Be more cautious when:
- The host provides only a download result with no upload figure.
- The host names the internet plan but cannot provide an in-unit test.
- The listing gives no meaningful information about provider, connection type or sharing.
- Internet service is shared across many apartments or guests but no evening test is available.
- The desk is far from the router and Ethernet is unavailable.
- The only backup option is a public café.
- The host says outages are rare but cannot explain what happens to the router during a blackout.
- A mobile or satellite backup is advertised without indoor testing.
- The backup has unclear data limits.
- Recent reviews give conflicting reports about connectivity.
- The host declines a reasonable request for basic internet evidence.
One warning sign does not necessarily make a property unsuitable.

Test Remote Work Internet Reliability as Soon as You Arrive
