If a plan page simply says “unlimited data,” do not assume that means unlimited laptop tethering.

Set Up Dual SIM Carefully to Avoid Accidental Roaming
Your phone must be both eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked for the travel setup you intend to use.
If you plan to keep your home number active while using a travel eSIM, the phone must also support the required dual-SIM arrangement.
